Hei Design Interiors had the privilege of earning the trust of a client early on, embarking on the interior design and meticulous renovation of a three-bedroom sanctuary at Pano Harbour. Our skilled designers reimagined this haven to gracefully meet the nuanced needs of both the elegant female homeowner and her daughter. The challenge lay in crafting ample wardrobe space while harmoniously weaving together their differing style preferences. The result is a masterpiece where modern simplicity intertwines seamlessly with luxurious elegance, balancing aesthetic appeal and functional needs for the entire family.
At the heart of this refined design solution lies meticulous space planning. Initially, a protruding rectangular space between the master bedroom and the daughter's room presented a challenge. Through our designers' creative prowess, every inch was transformed to meet four distinct needs. By artfully shifting the entrance of the daughter's room forward, what was once a storage room space morphed into a graceful and orderly walk-in closet. The central portion became a cosy nook, a tranquil sanctuary for the domestic helper, while part of the space was masterfully transformed into a storage display cabinet facing the living room. Space allocation extends into the master bedroom, permitting the inclusion of an extra wardrobe to satisfy the female homeowner's desires.
The overall spatial plan is a harmonious blend of individual needs and family inclusivity, infusing the originally irregularly shaped living area with warmth and sophistication. Straightened wall contours enable a seamless visual flow. In the living and dining area, a bespoke marble-backed display cabinet, coupled with the strategic use of jib and sliding doors, unites aesthetics and functionality into a singular, cohesive wall. This design ingenuity extends to the TV wall, creating a focal point that bestows an expansive ambience upon the space.
The seamless integration into the study area furthers this ethos. The semi-open design fosters interaction while preserving the sanctity of private contemplation during work. This connectivity bathes the spaces in abundant natural light, with sunlight dancing across bookshelves and a welcoming sofa, encapsulating users in a warm embrace during moments of work and leisure.
The suite of exquisitely designed bespoke furniture is multifunctional and poetic, embodying the essence of opulence and grace. The expansive storage beside and behind the grand desk features cabinets that hide documents and clutter, while open shelves proudly display treasured collections. Additionally, a wardrobe ensures that the lady's sartorial needs are met. The design, with its juxtaposition of luxurious complexity and minimalist simplicity, adds layers of texture and sophistication to the space.
In the master bedroom, modern minimalism meets timeless elegance. White and beige tones set the stage for a serene retreat. Unique statement wall effects are curated through cabinetry and the stylish wavy sliding door of the ensuite bathroom. Paired with fluted glass and golden steel trims on the wardrobe, it casts a soft, ethereal glow. On the other side of the double bed, a display cabinet illuminates a curated collection of luxury handbags, blending aesthetic appeal with impeccable functionality.
As the sun sets, the homeowner finds solace on a bed adorned with a grey padded headboard. Gentle lights dance along the edges and base of the cabinet, illuminating a warm, soothing radiance that transforms the space into a peaceful haven, like a soft lullaby guarding the serene night. It is an escape from the hustle and bustle, an immersion in every beautiful moment.
The daughter's room is a universe of dreams. The transformation of the original storage space into a spacious walk-in closet provides a canvas to display and organize cherished attire and accessories. A comfortable double bed, perched on a storage platform, amplifies the bedroom's capacity while maintaining tidiness and cosiness. Adjacent to the bed, a study desk also serves a dual purpose as a dressing table, a haven for both intellectual exploration and creative pursuits.
The room whispers elegance in white, beige, and brown tones, together with textures of wood and fabric, narrating a story of understated extravagance. The comfortable backrest by the window offers a perfect spot for evening relaxation under warm lights or a leisurely perusal of fashion magazines.
