The Pavilia Farm is one of the largest domestic private developments in recent years, comprising 14 luxurious residential towers atop the Tai Wai MTR Station. Boasting over 3,000 units, ranging from studio flats to 4-bedroom special units, this esteemed property offers a diverse array of living spaces. The centrepiece of its acclaimed clubhouse is the captivating urban farm, serving as a tranquil oasis amids
The property in focus is a meticulously planned 3-bedroom unit of about 830 sq. ft. Our esteemed clients, a newlywed couple of 2 young i-bankers, yearn for a contemporary and minimalist ambiance for their cherished first home.
Immersed in the concept of serenity within the development, this exquisitely designed unit embraces the captivating Scandinavian aesthetic. The clean and uncomplicated design immediately captures the hearts of the couple, while the classic neutral colour palette creates a sense of timeless sophistication. Dark contrasting fixtures and fittings, along with seamlessly integrated wooden surfaces, infuse the home with a warm and inviting ambiance that resonates throughout.
Embracing innovation in layout design, our interior designer adopts a bold open-space approach for a truly unique living experience. Walls and partitions are strategically removed or repositioned to create a seamless flow within the home and allow clear and bright natural light to become the perfect embellishment of the space. An open kitchen, a transparent ensuite bathroom in the master bedroom, and a combined foyer area are the thoughtful adjustments that serve as the finishing touches to enhance the minimalist charm of the home, elevating its airy elegance with improved natural light and enhanced circulation throughout.
Hong Kong homeowners frequently encounter frustration with the underutilized elongated entryway in their “every-inch-counts” homes. Our interior design approach addresses this common issue by seamlessly merging the small entryway with the adjacent storeroom, resulting in the creation of a flawless foyer that maximizes space efficiency.
In the centre of the foyer, a minimalistic bench is intentionally placed, accompanied by an exquisite artwork on the wall, creating an ambiance reminiscent of a Swedish art gallery - a place that holds a profound significance as it serves as the place where the homeowners first met. The entire foyer exudes a comfortable and elegant atmosphere, allowing one to quietly appreciate the artwork on the wall or immerse oneself in the couple's tender love story.
The storage solution in this beautiful house is truly remarkable. The built-in shelves and cabinets feature hidden doors that seamlessly blend with the walls, ensuring a seamless and elegant aesthetic. Furthermore, the storage options extend beyond this, with a drawer underneath the bench that maximizes the home’s storage potential.
The living and dining room resonates immensely with Nordic interior design, featuring a soft colour palette, primarily in white, along with various textures of oak striped panels, cascading floor-length curtains, and glasses to create a comfortable and natural ambience. The furniture follows a minimalist and practical approach, with wooden coffee tables, sleek carpets, cozy sofas, a marble dining table, and benches, all exuding a fashionable and functional appeal.
While a white hue is incorporated in the kitchen of this open-plan space, the sense of dimensionality and delineation is skillfully achieved through the use of striking moulding on the cupboards and drawers.
In an airy and tranquil space designed to be kept minimal, a prominent wall can sometimes be overwhelming. On the other hand, a sophisticated doorway can effortlessly become an artistic focal point. This modern design arched doorway leading to the living and dining room gives a clean, smooth and polished look, adding to the overall aesthetic of the space.
The black dining bench is not only a functional piece but also a work of art that catches the eye. The combination of round and pointy legs creates an intriguing visual contrast, adding an artistic touch to the dining room.
The clean and simple arched doorway and unique long dining bench quietly become part of the home's aesthetic, effectively creating a simple yet intriguing atmosphere.
Light-coloured curtains and bedding, paired with simple decor, create a sense of lightness and softness in the bedroom. The marble side table, along with the wall sconce above it, brings a touch of modern luxury to the room. Additionally, the end-of-bed bench, designed in the same style as the dining bench, fosters a cohesive design throughout the entire house.
The soothing perimeter LED recessed lighting casts a soft, warm glow throughout the bedroom, creating a romantic ambiance for the newlyweds that can be easily adjusted by dimming or switching the lights at any time.
The bathroom within the bedroom reflects the Scandinavian minimalist style that permeates the entire house, evoking simplicity, freshness, and a comfortable atmosphere.
The crystal-clear black-framed glass doors enhance the visual spaciousness of the bedroom, making it feel larger and more open while allowing natural light to bathe the room. The black frame of the glass door provides a contrast against the soft, beige-white background of the entire room and also creates a visual interplay with the black curved patterns on the bedroom rug, resulting in an intriguing visual dynamic within the bedroom.
Abundant natural light pours in through the expansive windows. Paired perfectly with warm wooden desks and soft pastel walls, creating a cozy and stress-relieving atmosphere. The floating bookshelves are the perfect spot for displaying boutique decorations or beloved books, allowing the homeowners to create a personalized space.
The bookshelves and the desk are intentionally arranged in varying lengths by the interior designer to create a sense of rhythm and progression in the study room. The intentional alignment and visual progression contribute to a feeling of spaciousness and openness in the room.
